American Freedom & Enlightenment?

What Freedom?

Unconstrained US govt. spying, no right to dissent or protest (or even to assemble) w/o US govt. approval, & indefinite detentions w/o trial, US govt.-sanctioned kidnaps & torture, extrajudicial assassinations/murders, bought & rigged elections, etc., etc.?

What Enlightenment?

All-pervasive gratuitous & casual bullying, violence, pornography & drugs? Rampant greed, fraud, lies & corruption in US politics, economics, finance, media, & just about every sector & level of society?
